Sourcing The Fire | About Us
Sourcing The Fire is an organization based in Maryland, and was created and born from the vision of two teachers: Bryan Bieniek and Mike O'Donnell. The great success of the Vision Fasts led by Bryan and Mike for Mt. St. Joseph High School seniors, led to the realization that this work needed to be shared with the greater community. Currently, Sourcing The Fire holds its Vision Fasts on private land located near Harpers Ferry, WV.

We at Sourcing The Fire are committed to sharing our passion for learning from the Land, acknowledging the innate wisdom of human nature to go deep within and heal. We serve to provide space and ceremony that allows for the deep dialogue, and sacred work that happens when searching people gather together as community on the Land to learn, metaphorically die to what no longer serves, and transform.
